Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Yoshida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Jingles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jingles has chosen Ride the Lightening-Metallica as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryo Yoshida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mr Jingles!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jingles throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Yoshida on the side of the head.
Yoshida avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Yoshida closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jingles to the mat! Jingles manages to get full guard.
Yoshida is looking to work some ground and pound but Jingles has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yoshida stands and throws Jingles's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Jingles is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Yoshida looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Yoshida misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yoshida changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jingles fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Yoshida tries to close the distance and clinch but Jingles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yoshida takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Yoshida closes the distance and clinches up with Jingles, looking for a takedown. Yoshida pushes Jingles against the cage but Jingles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jingles feints a jab promting Yoshida to slip. Jingles then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Yoshida slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Jingles's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Yoshida drives through with a takedown into Jingles's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Yoshida has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jingles is trying to stand.

That was a close round but I would say that Ryo Yoshida will probably get the nod.
That's time! Yoshida's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Yoshida shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Yoshida was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

I would just about give that final round to Mr Jingles.
I think Yoshida has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
