Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hugo Gramacho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Patrick Diccico!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gramacho circles away from the clinch attempt.
Diccico tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gramacho uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Diccico.
Gramacho shoots in but no luck this time.
Gramacho closes this distance looking for a takedown but Diccico circles away.
Diccico feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Gramacho escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Diccico gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Diccico won't allow Gramacho to sweep him here.

Gramacho looking for subs off his back but Diccico has passed one foot through into half guard.
Diccico wants to free his trapped foot but Gramacho is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gramacho makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gramacho.

Diccico drops back looking for a leg! Gramacho is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gramacho manages to kick Diccico off! Diccico jumps back into Gramacho's guard.
Diccico passes Gramacho's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Gramacho tries to roll over but Diccico keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gramacho is breathing heavily.
Diccico is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gramacho doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Diccico.
Gramacho manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Diccico drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gramacho dives on top into guard.
Gramacho drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Gramacho as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Diccico screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Gramacho! Nice submission victory there!
