Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kerma Pekoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Kolmiokuristus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kolmiokuristus has chosen bad boy - cascada as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kerma Pekoni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalle Kolmiokuristus!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pekoni throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kolmiokuristus's waist but Kolmiokuristus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pekoni off to one side.
Pekoni fails with the takedown.
Pekoni fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kerma Pekoni. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kolmiokuristus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pekoni will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pekoni shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pekoni was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Pekoni goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kolmiokuristus is on top in guard.

Kolmiokuristus tries to free his leg and advance position but Pekoni is retaining full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kolmiokuristus loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kolmiokuristus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pekoni swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pekoni is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kolmiokuristus wants to pass the guard but Pekoni is keeping the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Pekoni moves out of range of the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kolmiokuristus gets a takedown into half guard.
Pekoni works his way to full guard. Good work.
Pekoni is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kolmiokuristus rolls with it to try and escape but Pekoni cranks on the arm and Kolmiokuristus is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
