Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guadalupe Mcfarland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guadalupe Mcfarland has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcfarland fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McDonald ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mcfarland moves away.
Mcfarland fires out a quick counter leg kick but McDonald just manages to avoid it.
Mcfarland shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and McDonald counters with a nice body shot.
Mcfarland closes the distance and pushes McDonald back into the cage.
McDonald gets control of Mcfarland's arms and successfully pulls guard. McDonald will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McDonald wants to stand and escape but Mcfarland is having none of it.
McDonald pulls Mcfarland in close to his closed guard and prevents Mcfarland from doing any damage or advancing position.
McDonald has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Mcfarland has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

It looks like it's working - McDonald slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Mcfarland displaying calm under pressure there.
