Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nosyaj Rram!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Songswat Watana!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rram misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Watana.
Rram swings for the body but Watana moves out of range.
Watana throws a counter combo.
Watana looks for a takedown but Rram sprawls well.
Watana shoots for a double leg takedown but Rram sprawls well. He's pushed Watana's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Watana.
Nosyaj Rram has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Songswat Watana.
Rram connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Watana avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Watana dodges the punch combination from Rram.

Watana shoots in but Rram avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Rram goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Rram throws a right and a left that both miss.
Despite the aggression on Watana's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
A combination from Rram does no damage.
Rram fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rram lands a nice hook to Watana's body. Watana takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Rram pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Watana back to the ropes. Rram follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
No joy there for Rram, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Watana throws a sloppy head kick and Rram moves out of range easily.
Watana on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nosyaj Rram seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Watana tries to counter by closing the distance.

Rram showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Watana.
Rram looks to land a combination but Watana avoids it well.
Watana dives in and grabs Rram's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rram pushes down on Watana's head and hops out.
Watana doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rram rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Watana moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rram ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Rram is looking to wear down Watana with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Watana.
Sloppy strikes from Rram. Those never looked like landing.
Watana slips a jab and a cross from Rram.
Rram looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Rram connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Rram thuds a left hand into Watana's body.
Rram misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Watana shoots in and drives through. Rram sprawls well.
Watana looks winded!

Rram lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Rram works over Watana's head and body with a nice combination.
Rram fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Watana looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Rram closes the distance and lands a one-two.


Watana is rocked!
Rram slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Watana is still on wobbly legs! Can Rram finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rram misses with a jab, cross combination.
Good standup being displayed there by Rram as he connects with a hook.
Rram blocks a leg kick.
Rram lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rram.
Watana walks straight into a right hand from Rram - that's dropped him! Rram jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Watana from any more punishment! Watana complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Nosyaj Rram!
