Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chanse Cravens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Nightmare! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cravens keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cravens fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nightmare sprawls well initially but Cravens persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Nice strikes from Cravens there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Cravens tries to stand and escape but Nightmare is controlling the position. Ground and pound from Cravens. Nightmare wants to control but Cravens is keeping busy and won't allow it. Cravens missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Nightmare is looking to improve his position.
Cravens is looking to take a break and control but Nightmare is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Nightmare is in trouble now - Cravens has advanced to mount! Cravens has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cravens has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nightmare's face.

Cravens looking to control but Nightmare is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cravens avoids the attempt from Nightmare to control. Nightmare looks gassed! Cravens trying to control but he's not successful this time. Nightmare wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Cravens working away from the top, dropping strikes. Nightmare is squirming around, avoiding Cravens's attempts to control the action. A nice elbow there by Cravens.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nightmare is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nightmare can do anything to dispel that myth. Nightmare is in a horrible position here. Cravens smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Cravens wants to control the pace but Nightmare is squirming around nicely. Cravens with good strikes from the mount here! Nightmare is desperately trying to improve his position but Cravens has a good base and remains in mount. Cravens raining down shots from the mount! Nightmare is working to get back to half guard.

Cravens looking to control but Nightmare is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Cravens lands with some strikes. Nightmare throwing hammer fists to the chest of Cravens. What's that going to do exactly? A nice elbow there by Cravens.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cravens working the ground and pound effectively.
Nightmare is wriggling around trying to escape.
Cravens punishing his opponent with strikes. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cravens cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Cravens lands a big shot there that rocks Nightmare but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Nightmare wants to hold on but Cravens pushes him away. Cravens looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Cravens lands a nice shot to the head. Nightmare working to try and regain half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cravens punishing his opponent with strikes. Cravens is landing with some decent strikes but Nightmare is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Nightmare wants to control but Cravens is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chanse Cravens dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Cravens shoots in for a takedown but Nightmare shows good takedown defense. Nightmare clinches with his opponent.
Cravens is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Cravens has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nightmare avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Cravens prevents Nightmare from breaking the clinch. Cravens breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cravens darts in and clinches Nightmare up against the cage. Cravens drops down looking for an ankle pick but Nightmare pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chanse Cravens. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nightmare gets the takedown into side control. Nightmare wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cravens keeps working. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cravens sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Nightmare landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Cravens regains full guard. Nicely done. Nightmare must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cravens looking for a sweep. Not yet Cravens, not yet. Cravens scores with a nice shot. Cravens trying to control the position here. Nightmare trying to control but Cravens is working from the bottom. Cravens pulls Nightmare in close to his closed guard and prevents Nightmare from doing any damage or advancing position. Cravens keeping full guard, as Nightmare tries to pass. Cravens keeping moving, preventing Nightmare from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cravens fails with the takedown. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Cravens throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Nightmare shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cravens's guard. Cravens is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Nightmare drops back looking for a leg! Cravens is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cravens manages to kick Nightmare off! Nightmare jumps back into Cravens's guard. Cravens looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cravens manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nightmare manages to get himself to full guard.
Cravens is in close to Nightmare's body, working some short punches and elbows. Cravens won't allow Nightmare to sweep him here. Nightmare is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Chanse Cravens overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nightmare throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Cravens keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Nightmare's head. Cravens loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A combination from Cravens does no damage. Cravens tries to clinch up but Nightmare circles away and keeps his distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. No joy there for Cravens, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nightmare tries to clinch but Cravens is having none of it. Nightmare tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cravens with a poor takedown and Nightmare counters by moving into the clinch. Nightmare wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cravens has him pressed against the cage. Nightmare avoiding damage.
Cravens manages to break the clinch.
Good leg kick by Cravens there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Cravens doesn't manage to clinch there - Nightmare circles away.
Nightmare gets a takedown into half guard. Cravens is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nightmare's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nightmare's back! Cravens is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Cravens gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Cravens gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Cravens apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Cravens shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Nightmare counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cravens's guard now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The Nightmare showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

A nice leg kick lands there from Cravens. Chanse Cravens is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cravens clinches with his opponent.
Cravens goes for a takedown attempt but Nightmare pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nice shot by Nightmare. Nightmare tries to clinch there but Cravens circles away.
Cravens clinches up against the cage. Cravens tries to score a body lock takedown but Nightmare shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Nightmare breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nightmare digs a good body shot into Cravens's ribs. Nightmare clinches up against the cage. A short right from Cravens on the inside. Cravens breaks from the clinch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nightmare instigates a clinch. Cravens wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cravens prevents Nightmare from breaking the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nightmare is looking to break free of the clinch but Cravens has double underhooks. Cravens works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Nightmare trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Nightmare throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Cravens slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Cravens looks up at the clock and then as Nightmare takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Cravens smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Nightmare on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Cravens in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Cravens stands up and we're back to a striking position. Cravens shoots in but Nightmare avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chanse Cravens. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nightmare shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cravens but Cravens pushes him off and we're back to square one. Cravens looks to clinch and Nightmare counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Nightmare. Nightmare really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cravens. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nightmare trying to control but Cravens is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cravens seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nightmare gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Cravens shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nightmare as he avoids it easily. Cravens wants to clinch and Nightmare counters with a shoot takedown. Cravens fights it but they end up in guard. Nightmare wants to stand but Cravens is controlling his posture from full guard. Cravens wants to sweep here but Nightmare controlling him for the moment. Nightmare postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Cravens keeping moving, preventing Nightmare from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cravens wants to sweep here but Nightmare controlling him for the moment. Cravens is working hard here to advance position. Nightmare won't allow Cravens to get back to his feet. Nightmare trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cravens clinches up against the cage. Nightmare goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cravens prevents it.
Nightmare has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cravens avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Nightmare gets underhooks to prevent Cravens's takedown attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nightmare dodges an elbow strike from Cravens.
Cravens is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Nightmare can't get the takedown.
Cravens has picked Nightmare up - he's going for a ride! Cravens dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nightmare taking some punishment here, with Cravens in his half guard. Nightmare wants to improve his position but Cravens is controlling well.
Cravens is trying to control the action in half guard but Nightmare is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Cravens thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Cravens works his way into full mount! Nightmare is looking to get to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! The Nightmare comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Nightmare has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
