Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jakob Filby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Midas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jakob Filby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Midas! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Filby takes a body punch but keeps moving. Filby slips a straight right by Midas. Midas throws a sloppy head kick and Filby moves out of range easily. Filby lands a head kick. Midas smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Daniel Midas has been cut. Filby pivots, looking for a leg kick but Midas is out of range and Filby settles back down. Nice defenses there by Midas. Filby throws a sloppy head kick and Midas moves out of range easily. A head kick misses from Filby. Filby throws a hook but Midas blocks it. Midas digs a good hook to Filby's body.
Filby lands with a slapping head kick. Filby throws a sloppy head kick and Midas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Midas misses with a body kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Midas throws a head kick that misses. Filby lands a big head kick that sends Midas tumbling to the mat! Filby takes a step backwards and waves Midas back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Midas is rocked! Nice defenses there by Midas. Midas is still on wobbly legs! Can Filby finish him? Filby has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Filby missing with a left hand there. Midas was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Filby throws a body punch but Midas moves out of range. A swing and a miss from Midas. Filby connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Filby throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Midas sees it coming and avoids it easily. Filby rushes Midas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Filby leaning his opponent against the cage. Filby landing knees to the body.
Midas looks winded! Filby has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Midas - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Filby, and another! Midas is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Jakob Filby! Jakob Filby decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
