Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kasperi Kaappanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maciej Jetwuszko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maciej Jetwuszko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaappanen fails to land the takedown.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jetwuszko's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaappanen parries the strikes from Jetwuszko easily there. Jetwuszko is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kaappanen to escape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jetwuszko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kaappanen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jetwuszko can do anything to dispel that myth.

Maciej Jetwuszko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Maciej Jetwuszko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jetwuszko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
