Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pelikaani dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sojka shoots in for a takedown but Pelikaani shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sojka tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pelikaani sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sojka somewhat.
Sojka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pelikaani circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mateusz Sojka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pelikaani scores with a jab to the head.
Pelikaani stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pelikaani wants it to stay on the feet.
Sojka doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Pelikaani counter with a right hand.
Sojka goes for a double leg but Pelikaani avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pelikaani continues to drive forward.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pelikaani paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Sojka fails with the takedown
and Pelikaani counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Nice shot lands for Pelikaani.

A jab from Pelikaani finds it's way through Sojka's defenses.
Sojka is rocked!
Sojka glances at the clock... BAM! Pelikaani nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Sojka crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Sojka is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Huppu Pelikaani!
