Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johann Kessler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Percy Schmeiser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kessler's entrance music is Coal Chamber - Burgundy. A fine choice. Schmeiser comes into a darkened arena with his song building. David vs Monsanto kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Johann Kessler is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kessler slips a jab from Schmeiser.
Kessler appears to be looking for a big counter.
Schmeiser throws a half hearted mid kick.
Schmeiser has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kessler is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Schmeiser changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
A punch lands to the side of Schmeiser 's head but he takes it in his stride.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Schmeiser uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kessler has time to react.

You can see the frustration on Kessler's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Schmeiser looks up at the clock and then as Kessler takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Schmeiser smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Schmeiser has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
