Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Ashton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Walcott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ashton might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Zombie Nation. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric Ashton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Walcott! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ashton fails with a takedown attempt. Walcott lands a glancing blow to the side of Ashton's head. Walcott fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ashton. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ashton shoots in looking for a takedown but Walcott manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ashton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Walcott scores with a kick to the midsection. Walcott throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ashton attempts a counter takedown but Walcott avoids it well and moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walcott fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ashton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Ashton takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Walcott ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Walcott lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Walcott throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ashton attempts a counter takedown but Walcott avoids it well and moves away. Joe Walcott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walcott looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Ashton misses the shot to the body. Walcott scores with a kick to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Walcott.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walcott fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Walcott dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Walcott throws a nice outside leg kick. Walcott sizes up Ashton with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Walcott is looking to slow Ashton down with leg kicks. Ashton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Ashton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ashton misses with a takedown and Walcott counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walcott connects with a body shot that sends Ashton's belly button to the back. Joe Walcott is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Walcott feints and then cracks Ashton's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ashton down. Ashton takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Walcott looks to score with a jab to the body but Ashton is just out of range. Walcott swings for the body but Ashton moves out of range.
Walcott with a jab. Walcott dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Walcott is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ashton rather than just go for the knockout. Ashton shoots in looking for a takedown. Walcott tries to sprawl out of it but Ashton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Walcott manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walcott buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Walcott has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. Walcott takes a swing at Ashton's ribcage but misses. Ashton drops down looking for a counter takedown but Walcott sprawls and moves away. Walcott scores with a jab to the body. Walcott dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ashton takes a swing at Walcott's ribcage but misses. Ashton takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Walcott dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

No luck for Ashton with that takedown attempt. Walcott changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Walcott lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ashton at a distance.
Joe Walcott seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Walcott. Ashton shrugs it off though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walcott throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ashton's head. Walcott stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Walcott wants it to stay on the feet. Ashton with a poor takedown and Walcott counters with a good low kick that Ashton was not able to check. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Ashton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Walcott does it's job there. Walcott punishes Ashton's body with a nice straight punch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Walcott lands a nice looking body kick. Walcott throws a good cross that connects.
Ashton drops his hands momentarily and Walcott takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Walcott drops Ashton with a beautiful combination! Ashton stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Walcott is looking for the KO!
Ashton is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Walcott digs a good hook to Ashton's body.
Oh Ashton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Walcott weaves into range and cracks Ashton right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Ashton goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Walcott is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joe Walcott!
