Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rollo Lothbrok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Jinx!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lothbrok lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Jinx tries to close the distance and clinch but Lothbrok swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jinx closes the distance and clinches up with Lothbrok, looking for a takedown. Jinx pushes Lothbrok against the cage but Lothbrok circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jinx ducks right into an uppercut from Lothbrok.
Jinx should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Lothbrok's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lothbrok duly obliges.
It looks like Billy Jinx has been cut.
Jinx has his takedown stuffed
and Lothbrok connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jinx goes for a double leg but Lothbrok avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lothbrok continues to drive forward.
Rollo Lothbrok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Jinx.
Lothbrok lands a jab to the nose.
Decent striking displayed by Lothbrok there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lothbrok dances in with a quick combination. Jinx is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Lothbrok snaps Jinx's head back. Jinx stumbles backwards against the cage. Lothbrok steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Jinx's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Jinx just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rollo Lothbrok!
Our winner, Rollo Lothbrok, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
