Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy Kubiak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Diaz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gasolina. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sergio Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Paddy Kubiak! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Diaz keeping moving, preventing Kubiak from controlling successfully. Diaz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kubiak loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Diaz has his hands on Kubiak's head, controlling the position. Kubiak stopping the sweep attempt from Diaz. Kubiak throws a big elbow that misses. Kubiak wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving. Kubiak trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Not particularly brutal. Kubiak is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Diaz is pulling down on Kubiak's head. It's preventing any offense from Kubiak, at least for the moment. Diaz is trying to control the position but Kubiak postures up. Kubiak won't allow Diaz to sweep him here. Kubiak has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Diaz is on top in guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Paddy Kubiak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diaz gets caught flat footed, as Kubiak shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Sergio Diaz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Paddy Kubiak is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Diaz working for a triangle but Kubiak defends it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Paddy Kubiak. Well Kubiak has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
