Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cubert Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lionel Lindsay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindsay throws an overhand right that lands on Rua 's shoulder, as Rua tries to avoid the shot.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lindsay working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Lindsay has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Rua has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lindsay is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rua .
Lindsay is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rua is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Lindsay has an Americana. Rua didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Lindsay is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Lindsay hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
