PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ikkaku Madarame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lim Yun Gyu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Madarame comes into the arena with Bleed It Out blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madarame rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yun Gyu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Oooooh!!! Yun Gyu has knocked Madarame down with a huge combo! Yun Gyu steps away and waves a wobbly Madarame back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Yun Gyu throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Madarame's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Yun Gyu dives in looking to finish as Madarame flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Yun Gyu's strikes! Yun Gyu is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Madarame's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Madarame was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
