Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobo Clown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rod Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black slaps away a takedown attempt from Clown, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Black lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Clown tries to land a leg kick but Black saw it coming and moves away.
Clown ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Black moves away.
Clown shoots in looking for a takedown. Black tries to sprawl out of it but Clown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Black manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Clown looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clown is trying hard to land a takedown here. Black sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

The fight stays on the outside here - Clown looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
And Black tries to counter it with a takedown but Clown pushes his down on his head and steps out.

and Black decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Clown's guard.

Clown is looking for a sweep. Black is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

It looks like Black might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Black is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Clown defends it well.
Clown is looking to control Black's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Clown avoid being mounted?

Black lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Black is continuing to stall.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Black is taking a breather. Clown says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Let's hope that Black has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Clown is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Black seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Black cracks Clown with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Black immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Clown is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Black!
