Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonah Varce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nuke Laloosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonah Varce! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nuke Laloosh! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Varce with a lazy takedown attempt and Laloosh counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Laloosh. Laloosh prevents a body shot from Varce. Laloosh lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Varce tries to throw a body punch but Laloosh avoids it by throwing Varce back against the cage. Laloosh scores with an uppercut up the middle. A short left from Laloosh. Varce has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Laloosh after a bit of a struggle. Varce tries to score a body lock takedown but Laloosh shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonah Varce. That's going to take a lot out of him. Laloosh lands with a right to the head. A head punch blocked on the inside by Varce. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Laloosh tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Varce's elbow. Still in the clinch, Laloosh scores with a nice short uppercut. Laloosh can't find room to land a body shot as Varce controls the action.
Laloosh lands a shoulder strike. Laloosh makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Varce has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Laloosh after a bit of a struggle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Varce drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Varce tries to break free but Laloosh pushes him back against the cage. Laloosh lands a left hand that snaps the head of Varce backwards. Nice body punch from Laloosh - that landed with a thud.
Varce prevents a body shot from Laloosh. Varce misses with a hook to the ribs.
Laloosh lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Varce or not. Varce drops down looking for an ankle pick but Laloosh pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jonah Varce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Laloosh lands a big uppercut and Varce crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Varce looks OK. Laloosh waves Varce back to his feet!
Varce is rocked! Laloosh has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Varce is landing a low percentage of strikes. Laloosh throws a pinpoint strike between Varce's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Varce crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Laloosh scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nuke Laloosh! Nuke Laloosh thanked the fans post fight for their support. In defeat, Jonah Varce stepped up to the mic, saying 'That was a fluke...'.
