Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chauchai Dechaudarra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kleber Koike Erbst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kleber Koike Erbst!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erbst doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Erbst closes the distance and clinches up with Dechaudarra, looking for a takedown. Erbst pushes Dechaudarra against the cage but Dechaudarra circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dechaudarra misses with a low kick.
Erbst shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dechaudarra but Dechaudarra pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Erbst misses with a hook to the ribs.
I was talking to Dechaudarra's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Dechaudarra tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Erbst's elbow.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
