Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Travis Bickle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alfonso Grabonzo!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bickle throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Bickle misses with a straight left.
Grabonzo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bickle as he avoids it easily.
Grabonzo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bickle counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Grabonzo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bickle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bickle wants to get back to his feet.
Bickle trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Bickle's coaches at Hugs & Kisses have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Grabonzo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Bickle is trying to get back to his feet.

The ground and pound from Grabonzo seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Grabonzo throws an elbow but Bickle slips to the side and avoids it well.
Bickle pushes Grabonzo away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Grabonzo gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Grabonzo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bickle, who protects the arm well.
Bickle wants to get back to his feet but Grabonzo drags him back down.

Grabonzo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bickle has escaped the position, nice work there.
Grabonzo prevents Bickle from escaping the position.

Grabonzo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bickle knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bickle explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Bickle scores with a hook to the body. Grabonzo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Bickle dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bickle is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Bickle lands a glancing blow to the side of Grabonzo's head.
Alfonso Grabonzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bickle looks to score with a jab to the body but Grabonzo is just out of range.
Grabonzo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bickle swivels and escapes.
Travis Bickle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alfonso Grabonzo.

Bickle scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Grabonzo doesn't seem bothered though.

Bickle drops Grabonzo with a beautiful combination! Grabonzo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bickle is looking for the KO!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bickle fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Grabonzo is still on wobbly legs! Can Bickle finish him?
Bickle fakes the body blow, causing Grabonzo to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Grabonzo goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
