Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uryan Hall!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall sizes up Redban with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hall loads up on a big right hand but Redban slips the punch.
Redban has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Redban ducks under a wild hook from Hall.
Redban gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hall jumps guard but Redban turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing.
Hall fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hall jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Redban walks away with a smile on his face. Hall gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rogan Redban has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uryan Hall.
Redban clinches with his opponent.
Redban scores with an uppercut up the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Redban walks away with a smile on his face. Hall gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Redban rushes Hall and presses him up against the ropes.
Redban lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Hall goes for a takedown in the clinch but Redban prevents it.
Redban lands an elbow that stopped Hall in his tracks for a moment.
Hall is fighting off a takedown attempt but Redban is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hall to the mat. Hall regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Redban trying to control but Hall is working from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Hall is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Hall being controlled here, momentarily.

Hall working for a triangle but Redban defends it easily.
Redban throws a sloppy strike and Hall has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Redban is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Hall!
