Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saleem Al Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilson Ferrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Al Khan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Three Days Grace - Scared. Wilson Ferrall has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Saleem Al Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wilson Ferrall!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Khan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Al Khan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ferrall's head.
Ferrall walks into a left hand.
Al Khan throws an overhand right that lands on Ferrall's shoulder, as Ferrall tries to avoid the shot.
Al Khan has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rape Academy (7 elite, 6 2x elite) in the buildup to the fight.
Al Khan works over Ferrall's head and body with a nice combination.
Al Khan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ferrall is defended easily by Al Khan.
Al Khan throws a big counter combination but Ferrall scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Al Khan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ferrall's calf.
Ferrall uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Al Khan.
Al Khan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ferrall.
Ferrall on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ferrall shoots in looking for a takedown but Al Khan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ferrall's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Al Khan throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Ferrall moves into the clinch.
Ferrall goes for a takedown in the clinch but Al Khan prevents it.
Saleem Al Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilson Ferrall.

Ferrall tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Al Khan defends well and Ferrall ends up having to push Al Khan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Al Khan looks to land a combination but Ferrall avoids it well.
Ferrall is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Al Khan with a body shot.
Ferrall uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Al Khan.
Saleem Al Khan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ferrall fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

As Al Khan backs off Ferrall throws a huge counter combo but Al Khan manages to avoid it all.

Ferrall shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Al Khan napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Ferrall tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ferrall has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ferrall tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Ferrall wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Al Khan, who protects the arm well.

Al Khan sneaks out the side door and pushes Ferrall away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Al Khan connects with a leg kick. Ferrall looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Al Khan throws a head kick that Ferrall semi-blocks.
Ferrall shoots in for a double leg but Al Khan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Al Khan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Al Khan connects with a high kick.
Al Khan misses with the combination.
And Ferrall tries to counter it with a takedown but Al Khan pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Saleem Al Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ferrall takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Al Khan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ferrall fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Al Khan avoids it really well and circles away.
As Ferrall looks to move away, Al Khan throws a big counter combo but Ferrall just gets out of the way.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Al Khan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Al Khan misses with a two punch combination.
Ferrall with the counter takedown but Al Khan avoids it easily.
No luck for Ferrall with that takedown attempt.
Al Khan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ferrall.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Al Khan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Al Khan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ferrall drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Al Khan defends it well.

Ferrall will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Al Khan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ferrall circles away quickly and effectively.

Ferrall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Al Khan pinned against the cage. Al Khan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ferrall changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Ferrall has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Ferrall counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Saleem Al Khan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ferrall seems to be working for a kimura but Al Khan defends the submission attempt.
Ferrall content to control rather than advance.
Ferrall passes the guard and advances to mount!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Al Khan trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Ferrall can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Al Khan is looking to escape.
Al Khan's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Ferrall goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Al Khan turns into him and now he's in Ferrall's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Al Khan throws a series of punches but Ferrall avoids them all with ease.
Ferrall throws out a counter right but Al Khan avoids it with no problem.

Al Khan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ferrall eats them both and turns towards Al Khan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Ferrall wants to clinch up but Al Khan keeps it at a distance.

Al Khan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Ferrall shoots for a takedown but Al Khan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ferrall looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ferrall is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Saleem Al Khan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Ferrall fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Al Khan manages to avoid it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ferrall shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Al Khan is trying to defend but Ferrall finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Al Khan has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Ferrall is on him like a limpet, forcing Al Khan back against the cage.

Al Khan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ferrall. That did some damage!

Wilson Ferrall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Al Khan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ferrall backs up against the cage.

Saleem Al Khan showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Al Khan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
