Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

48 - 69 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fyodor Pending!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laprise shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pending as he jumps to the side.
Pending tries to counter with a clinch but Laprise shakes him off and moves away.
Laprise fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pending, pushing him back against the cage.
Pending tries for a takedown. No joy.
Laprise is leaning against Pending and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
A short left from Laprise.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Laprise.
A short right from Laprise.
Pending tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Laprise just stands there and leans against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laprise is trying to trip Pending. He has hold of a leg but Pending is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Laprise persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Laprise works over Pending with some ground and pound from guard.
Laprise scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Laprise postures up and lands a big shot to Pending's brow.
Laprise is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Laprise lands a couple of elbows.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pending has momentary wrist control but Laprise slips an elbow through the middle.
Laprise drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Laprise as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Pending screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Laprise! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Pierre Laprise!
