Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Luis Hunt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Allen Boes! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Josh West.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boes looks to throw the jab but Hunt is out of range. Boes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hunt moves away. Hunt tries to counter by clinching up but Boes breaks away and moves out of range. Hunt scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

It looks like Allen Boes has been cut. Hunt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boes throws out the jab. Hunt ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Hunt paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Boes looks to throw the jab but Hunt is out of range. Boes fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Boes throws out a loose jab but Hunt uses good head movement to avoid it. As Boes tries to get set, Hunt tries to push him back and clinch up but Boes manages to avoid the attempt. Hunt lands a jab. We've been hearing reports that Hunt has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Hunt avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Boes dives in and grabs Hunt's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hunt pushes down on Boes's head and hops out. Hunt moves in looking to clinch but Boes pushes him off. Boes has a takedown stuffed. Hunt tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Boes manages to circle out of the way. Luis Hunt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Allen Boes. Boes throws a lazy right hand but Hunt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hunt tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Boes manages to circle out of the way.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Boes throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hunt seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Boes swats away the attempt to clinch by Hunt. Boes swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Boes pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Hunt scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Boes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hunt. Boes walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Hunt avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A jab from Boes misses. Hunt is looking to counter the offense by Boes and move into the clinch. Allen Boes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hunt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boes paws at him with a jab and circles away. Boes looks like he wants to counter punch here. Hunt throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Boes on the side of the head. Boes takes one to the chin there. Boes takes a shot right to the bread basket. A looping hook to the body misses from Boes. Hunt does a little dance to reset his feet. Hunt avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Boes misses with a wild body shot. Boes might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunt blocks a jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hunt bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Boes's head. Boes throws a looping overhand right but Hunt ducks down to avoid it. Hunt scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Hunt wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Boes loads up on a big right hand but Hunt slips the punch. Boes pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A big right from Boes misses. Boes misses with a left hand
and Hunt counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hunt. Hunt manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Hunt lands a nice shot that snaps Boes's head back.
Luis Hunt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice uppercut there from Hunt.

Boes is rocked!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Boes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hunt circles away quickly and effectively. Hunt wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Boes shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hunt defends it nicely. Hunt steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boes. Boes gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Boes is still on wobbly legs! Can Hunt finish him? Are you kidding me?! Hunt ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Boes clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
