Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wily Swagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muraki Tunamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swagger's entrance music is Waylon Jennings - Good Ol' Boys. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wily Swagger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
31 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Muraki Tunamoto! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swagger circles away from the clinch attempt.
Swagger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Swagger shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tunamoto defends it nicely. Swagger misses with a right hand and Tunamoto counters with a straight right hand. Swagger doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tunamoto counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Swagger looks to throw a body kick and Tunamoto counters with a nice uppercut. Tunamoto gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Swagger to score an easy takedown into full guard. Swagger is stalling in the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Swagger drops back looking for a leg! Tunamoto is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tunamoto manages to kick Swagger off! Swagger jumps back into Tunamoto's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swagger pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tunamoto is keeping the position for now. Swagger sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tunamoto's guard. Swagger is looking to advance position but Tunamoto won't allow it. Tunamoto avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Swagger. Tunamoto keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Swagger scoring with strikes to the body and head. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Tunamoto tries to kick Swagger off but Swagger keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Swagger looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tunamoto with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Tunamoto has hold of Swagger's hands but Swagger slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Swagger perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Tunamoto is trying to stand up here but Swagger is controlling him well. Swagger seems to be working for a kimura but Tunamoto defends the submission attempt. Swagger is figuring out what he wants to do next. Tunamoto scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Swagger manages to mount him!
Tunamoto's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Swagger takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tunamoto defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Swagger. Swagger looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Swagger is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Tunamoto can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tunamoto can do anything to dispel that myth. Swagger controlling the pace for now. We've been hearing good reports from Swagger's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Swagger raining down hammerfists from mount. Swagger scoring with strikes but Tunamoto is staying in there. Tunamoto is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Swagger in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Swagger controlling from the full mount. Swagger lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Tunamoto is rocked! Tunamoto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Swagger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Swagger lands a big elbow. Tunamoto is still in real trouble! Can Swagger finish him? Tunamoto takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Swagger's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wily Swagger! Our winner, Wily Swagger, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
