Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Crushman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Onanias Runkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Runkman has chosen Anderson Silva DANCING Justin Bieber SONG as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Crushman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Onanias Runkman! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Runkman scores with a body shot.
Crushman throws a big shot that misses. Crushman uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Runkman has time to react. Runkman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Crushman was covering up waiting for the punch and Runkman finishes the takedown easily into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crushman seems keen to control Runkman's posture. Runkman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Crushman wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Runkman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crushman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Runkman trying to control the position from guard on top but Crushman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Runkman with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Runkman wants to pass the guard but Crushman is keeping the position. Runkman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Runkman wants to pass the guard but Crushman is keeping the position. Crushman uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Crushman lands a leg kick that knocks Runkman off balance momentarily. Crushman buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Crushman shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Runkman lands with a right hand. Crushman tries to land a leg kick but Runkman saw it coming and moves away.
Runkman swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Good shot there by Crushman. Runkman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Crushman. Crushman changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Crushman.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crushman with a hook. Crushman's corner calls for a 1-2. Crushman obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Crushman scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Runkman throws a right hand that misses
and Crushman counters with a nice low kick that buckles Runkman's knee momentarily. A leg kick checked by Runkman. Crushman throws a solid leg kick but Runkman takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Crushman. Runkman scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Runkman misses with a straight left. Crushman lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Runkman takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Crushman moves out of range as Runkman strikes. Crushman throws a body punch but Runkman moves out of range. Runkman scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Runkman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crushman sprawls well. Crushman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Runkman gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crushman fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Runkman is out of range. Runkman throws out a counter right but Crushman avoids it with no problem. An inside leg kick from Crushman misses. Crushman wants to land a leg kick but Runkman is out of range. Crushman throws a nice inside leg kick. Runkman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Crushman takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Crushman enables Runkman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Crushman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crushman keeping moving, preventing Runkman from controlling successfully. Crushman looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Crushman is working hard here to advance position. Runkman lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Crushman can't keep his opponent in guard - Runkman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Runkman throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Crushman to regain full guard. Crushman wants to sweep here but Runkman controlling him for the moment. Crushman keeping full guard, as Runkman tries to pass. Crushman seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Runkman throws a big right hand that misses. Runkman stopping the sweep attempt from Crushman. Crushman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

and Crushman counters with a takedown into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Runkman tries to bench press Crushman off him but Crushman keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Runkman looking for a sweep but Crushman has passed into full mount! Oh no! Runkman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Crushman trying to control but Runkman is having none of it. Runkman is desperately trying to improve his position but Crushman has a good base and remains in mount. Crushman stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Crushman scores with a nice strike. Crushman scores with a nice right hand.
Crushman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Crushman appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Runkman smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Crushman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Runkman can do to turn this around? Crushman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Crushman there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Daniel Crushman has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Runkman slips a straight right by Crushman. Daniel Crushman is winning the standup battle so far. Crushman misses with a looping left. Crushman with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jab, jab by Crushman - just one landing. This has been an exciting period of action! Crushman slaps away a takedown attempt from Runkman, before circling back to the center of the mat. Crushman bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Crushman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Runkman.
Crushman is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. A bone on bone clash there as Runkman blocks the leg kick.
Runkman is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Crushman with a body shot. Runkman slips under a jab from Crushman. Crushman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Runkman circles away. Runkman misses with a wild body shot. Crushman tries to counter with a takedown but Runkman is quick to defend against it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crushman wants to slow Runkman down by chopping away at his legs. Runkman looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Crushman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Runkman lands a jab to the nose. The fighters circling - Crushman throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Runkman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Crushman. Runkman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Runkman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Runkman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Runkman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Runkman blocks a leg kick. Runkman swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Crushman wants to land a leg kick but Runkman is out of range. Runkman now looks to counter with a shot at the body. A big right from Crushman misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Runkman lands with an uppercut that bounces Crushman off the cage and back into range. Crushman looks to land a body kick but Runkman moved away. Runkman feints a jab promting Crushman to slip. Runkman then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Crushman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Runkman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Crushman as he avoids it easily. Runkman ducks under a wild hook from Crushman. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Left hook, right uppercut from Crushman. Runkman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Crushman is trying to get back to half guard. Onanias Runkman has got the better of the ground game so far. Runkman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Crushman managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Runkman.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Crushman's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ground and pound from Runkman seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Runkman throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Runkman misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Runkman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Crushman is trying to get back to half guard. Crushman prevents Runkman from improving position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Runkman misses with the ground and pound. Crushman stops Runkman from passing to mount. Runkman works to advance to full mount. Crushman defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Runkman lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Crushman hang on? Crushman wants to hold on but Runkman pushes him away. Daniel Crushman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Runkman thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Runkman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Crushman holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Runkman tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Runkman moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Crushman has worked his arm free - good work by Crushman!
Onanias Runkman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Crushman avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Runkman.
And that's the end of the fight! Onanias Runkman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Crushman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
