The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eisen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Doe.
Doe throws a shot from downtown. Eisen moves away and avoids it.
Doe misses with an uppercut. Eisen saw that one coming.
Eisen is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Eisen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Eisen moves in looking to clinch but Doe pushes him off.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Doe throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Eisen on the side of the head.
That has opened up Makino Eisen's cut even more.
