Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Vand Der Weil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudy Van Daly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vand Der Weil comes to the cage accompanied by 2Pac - Watch Ya Mouth. Rudy Van Daly will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Alexei Vand Der Weil has been cut.
Van Daly jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Van Daly throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Van Daly works over Vand Der Weil's head and body with a nice combination.
Van Daly looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Vand Der Weil shoots in looking for a takedown but Van Daly manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vand Der Weil's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Vand Der Weil fails with a takedown attempt.
Van Daly looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Van Daly moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Van Daly steps in with a hook that catches Vand Der Weil right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Van Daly follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Vand Der Weil looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rudy Van Daly!
In his post fight interview, Rudy Van Daly started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
