Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Boothe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Yuber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuber tries to close the distance and clinch but Boothe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boothe misses the jab.
Boothe connects with the punch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Yuber has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

As Yuber backs away, Boothe returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Thomas Boothe will probably get the nod.

Boothe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Yuber has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yuber goes for a double leg but Boothe avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Boothe continues to drive forward.

Yuber throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boothe's waist but Boothe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yuber off to one side.

Yuber shoots in and drives through. Boothe sprawls well.
Boothe looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Yuber shoots in looking for a takedown. Boothe tries to sprawl out of it but Yuber keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boothe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boothe lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Yuber head around and knocks him out cold! Boothe hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

A very excited looking Thomas Boothe rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
