Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andro Antolovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes into the arena with Jumpman-Drake blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andro Antolovic! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Antolovic.
James went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Antolovic leaves James with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Antolovic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Antolovic throws a series of punches but James avoids them all with ease. Antolovic connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed James momentarily.
James fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Antolovic sprawls well initially but James persists and gets the takedown into half guard. James thows a huge punch but Antolovic dodges it nicely.
James throwing shots but Antolovic is blocking nicely. Antolovic avoiding damage under a succession of punches from James. James is pressing down on Antolovic's thigh, looking to free his foot. Antolovic is holding on for now. Antolovic manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. James keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Antolovic is trying to force a seperation but James has the dominant position. Antolovic is trying to break the clinch but James is controlling him. James tries to pull guard but Antolovic forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Antolovic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. James takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. James is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Antolovic connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. James tries to close the distance and clinch up but Antolovic swats him away and circles back towards the center. Antolovic clobbers James with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Antolovic misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Antolovic tries to work over James's front leg with a kick but James checks it. Antolovic lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
James dives in for a single leg takedown but Antolovic sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex James. That's going to take a lot out of him. James tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Antolovic swivels and escapes. Good shot there by Antolovic. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Antolovic buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
James tries to clinch there but Antolovic circles away.
James walks into a jab. Antolovic bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of James's head. Antolovic is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! James had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. James misses with a takedown attempt - Antolovic sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Antolovic thows a body kick. James tries to catch it but that hurt him. James wants to clinch and Antolovic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. James shoots for a takedown but Antolovic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Antolovic unleashes a big counter combination but James bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Antolovic throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. James shoots in for a double leg but Antolovic sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Antolovic goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Antolovic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
James moves into range and clinches up with Antolovic. James is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Antolovic breaks the clinch.
Antolovic swats away the attempt to clinch by James. Despite the aggression on Antolovic's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. James definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Antolovic drops James with a straight right hand, right on the button! Antolovic follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andro Antolovic! A very excited looking Andro Antolovic made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. Alex James spoke after the fight, saying 'My goal is to be champion. I only fight for the title. I crave to be champion and I'll be back on top'.
