Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Demolition Man Randy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jari Byczynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Demolition Man Randy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Demolition Man Randy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jari Byczynski! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Byczynski slips a straight right by Randy. Byczynski has managed to clinch.
Randy is looking to take this one to the mat. A head punch on the inside from Byczynski fails to land. Randy has Byczynski pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Randy pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Byczynski tumbling to the mat - Randy dives into Byczynski's guard. Byczynski working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Randy. Randy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Randy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Randy throws a strike but Byczynski rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Randy is striking off his back. Byczynski thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. My spies in Madz **21 Elite coaches** inform me that Byczynski has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Byczynski controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Randy regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Byczynski is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Randy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Randy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Byczynski preventing the sweep. Randy is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Byczynski wants to stand but Randy has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Byczynski trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Randy looking for a guillotine here but Byczynski defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Randy looking to control but Byczynski passes into half guard.
Randy blocking the ground and pound attempt from Byczynski. Randy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Byczynski lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Byczynski decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Byczynski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A jab from Byczynski finds it's way through Randy's defenses. Byczynski walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Randy checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Byczynski lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Randy backs up against the cage.
Byczynski thuds his right hand into Randy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Randy misses with a hook to the body
and Byczynski counters with a nice uppercut. Randy shoots in looking for a takedown but Byczynski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Randy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Byczynski feints a counter leg kick. Randy avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Randy lands a jab to the head.
Byczynski ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Byczynski throws a low kick, looking for Randy's leg but Randy calmly moves out of range. Randy misses with a straight right. Randy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Byczynski.
Byczynski bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Randy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Byczynski throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Randy drops down looking for a counter takedown but Byczynski sprawls and moves away. Byczynski moves into range and connects with a jab. Byczynski throws a leg kick but Randy checks it. Byczynski avoids the body shot from Randy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Randy misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Byczynski counters with a nice body shot. Randy takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A nice combination there by Byczynski.
Randy is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Byczynski cracks Randy on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Randy falls backwards against the cage. Byczynski follows up with more strikes that drop Randy to his knees. Byczynski keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Randy! This one is all over!
