Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matanel Barak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Afrikants Bbris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Barak might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to warrior. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bbris misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Barak takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Matanel Barak has been cut.
Bbris lands with an uppercut that bounces Barak off the cage and back into range.
Barak fails to land the takedown.
Barak drives through and clinches with Bbris against the cage.
Barak tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bbris's elbow.
Barak has Bbris pressed against the cage, preventing Bbris from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Barak prevents Bbris from breaking the clinch.
Barak manages to pull guard.
Barak lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Bbris has momentary wrist control but Barak slips an elbow through the middle.

Bbris looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Barak is pushing down on Bbris's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bbris is fighting to maintain full guard but Barak has managed to sneak the leg through.
Nice strikes from Barak there.
Barak wants to free his trapped foot but Bbris is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Barak looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bbris with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Barak is pressing down on Bbris's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bbris is holding on for now.
Barak thows a huge punch but Bbris dodges it nicely.
Barak really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bbris tries to kick Barak off but Barak keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Barak is working for a submission of some sort.

Barak is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bbris has managed to free his arm - good work.
Barak takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Bbris blocking the ground and pound attempt from Barak.

Bbris wants to get back to his feet.
Bbris tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Barak manages to move to mount!
Barak controlling the position easily from mount.
The referee warns Bbris that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bbris is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Bbris is trying to stand but he's just given Barak his back.

Bbris is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Barak lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Barak sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Bbris taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Matanel Barak!
Matanel Barak got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
