Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Virgil Lloyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Leo Fernandez was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lloyd sprawls well initially but Fernandez persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fernandez in particular looking to stall.
Fernandez is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Lloyd manages to get to full guard.
Fernandez is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Fernandez stands up from Lloyd's guard - Fernandez perhaps looking for a knockout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fernandez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lloyd is looking to counter the offense by Fernandez and move into the clinch.
Fernandez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lloyd.
Fernandez let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Fernandez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fernandez showed some decent athleticism there.

Fernandez postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lloyd looks a forlorn figure.

Lloyd is in a horrible position here. Fernandez smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Oh Lloyd is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fernandez postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Lloyd badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Fernandez around the waist but Fernandez pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Fernandez is the winner by TKO! Fernandez jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leo Fernandez!
