Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, George Ringo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Paul Magdasrakors! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Magdasrakors throws a hook but Ringo avoids it easily. Ringo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like George Ringo has been cut. Magdasrakors jabbing away but nothing is landing. Paul Magdasrakors seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Magdasrakors misses the jab. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Ringo. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ringo. A jab from Magdasrakors does it's job there. Ringo instigates a clinch. Ringo is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Ringo breaks the clinch.
Ringo walks into a left hand. Magdasrakors should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Magdasrakors ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Magdasrakors misses with a hook
and Ringo counters with a thumping low kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Magdasrakors circles away from the clinch attempt.
Magdasrakors throws a combination that misses and Ringo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Magdasrakors thinking. Magdasrakors lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ringo closes the distance and clinches. Magdasrakors manages to pull guard.
Magdasrakors wants to stand but Ringo is controlling the position. Ringo wanted to stand there but Magdasrakors had control of the position. Ringo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Magdasrakors pushes Ringo off and scrambles back to his feet.
Magdasrakors swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ringo wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Magdasrakors avoids a kick to the body.
A little jabbing left from Magdasrakors on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Magdasrakors misses with a looping right. Magdasrakors falls off balance throwing a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Ringo moves out of range of the strikes. Magdasrakors cracks a nice hook into Ringo's ribs. Magdasrakors looks to land a right hand but Ringo moved out of range. Ringo sends Magdasrakors crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ringo is motioning to the referee to let Magdasrakors up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Magdasrakors is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ringo lands a nice looking kick to the body. Magdasrakors takes a step back to recover. Magdasrakors is still on wobbly legs! Can Ringo finish him? Magdasrakors looks winded! Ringo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Magdasrakors doesn't seem bothered though. Magdasrakors seems to have recovered his senses. Magdasrakors avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ringo lands a front kick. Ringo cracks Magdasrakors on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Magdasrakors falls backwards against the cage. Ringo follows up with more strikes that drop Magdasrakors to his knees. Ringo keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Magdasrakors! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Ringo! Our winner, George Ringo, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
