Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Niten Dōraku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raoul De Muerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dōraku's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ides Of Light - Jucifer. De Muerta has chosen The Crystal Method as his entrance music. Raoul De Muerta acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Niten Dōraku! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raoul De Muerta! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dōraku uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by De Muerta.
A head kick misses from Dōraku. Dōraku takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Dōraku lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Dōraku is trying hard to land a takedown here. De Muerta sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Dōraku needs to keep his hands up - De Muerta had a free shot at his head there. Dōraku throws a head kick that misses. De Muerta throws out a powerful jab. Dōraku shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has De Muerta pinned against the cage. De Muerta gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Muerta throws an overhand right that lands on Dōraku's shoulder, as Dōraku tries to avoid the shot. Dōraku lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Raoul De Muerta has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dōraku throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dōraku tries to land a body kick and De Muerta cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dōraku lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and De Muerta has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from De Muerta and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Dōraku misses with a head kick.
We've been hearing reports that Dōraku has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Muerta tries to land a front kick but Dōraku steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Dōraku slips under a jab from De Muerta. Dōraku throws an uppercut from half a mile away. De Muerta sees it coming and avoids it easily. De Muerta connects with the punch. De Muerta attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Dōraku darts in looking for a takedown but De Muerta gets double underhooks and turns Dōraku into the cage. A little jabbing left from De Muerta on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Niten Dōraku. That's going to take a lot out of him. De Muerta is looking to slow Dōraku down with leg kicks. Dōraku connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Raoul De Muerta is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A nice inside leg kick there by Dōraku. That's going to slow De Muerta down. Dōraku throws an overhand right that lands on De Muerta's shoulder, as De Muerta tries to avoid the shot. De Muerta flicks out a counter leg kick but Dōraku steps away. Dōraku dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on De Muerta. That did some damage! De Muerta clinches. De Muerta blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Dōraku uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before De Muerta has time to react. De Muerta avoids the head kick by Dōraku.
De Muerta ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Dōraku walks into a jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! De Muerta with a body punch. A glancing blow. Dōraku looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A little jabbing left from De Muerta on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. De Muerta tries to land a body kick and Dōraku counters with a stiff right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dōraku lunges at De Muerta with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by De Muerta's hand. De Muerta is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. De Muerta jabbing away but nothing is landing. De Muerta chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A leg kick checked by Dōraku. De Muerta scores with a hook to the body. Dōraku takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Dōraku closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dōraku lands in his opponent's guard. De Muerta throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. De Muerta is pulling down on Dōraku's head to control his posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

De Muerta has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Dōraku fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. A punch lands to the side of De Muerta 's head but he takes it in his stride. De Muerta is looking to clinch. De Muerta scores with a sloppy right hand. Dōraku should have avoided that one. Decent striking displayed by De Muerta there. A jab from Dōraku finds it's way through De Muerta's defenses. Dōraku needs to keep his hands up - De Muerta had a free shot at his head there. De Muerta stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. De Muerta throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Dōraku changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. De Muerta tries to avoid it but Dōraku manages to keep hold of a leg and drag De Muerta to the ground. De Muerta escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. De Muerta just misses with a punch to the body.
Dōraku tries to counter with a takedown but De Muerta is quick to defend against it. A looping hook to the body misses from Dōraku. De Muerta does a little dance to reset his feet. A little jabbing left from De Muerta on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Dōraku connects with a solid leg kick. De Muerta fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

De Muerta throws a quick inside leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dōraku tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A little jabbing left from De Muerta on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. De Muerta throws a nice looking combination but Dōraku bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. De Muerta throws a low kick but Dōraku moves out of range easily. Dōraku drops down looking for a counter takedown but De Muerta sprawls and moves away. Dōraku takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Dōraku closes the distance and clinches up with De Muerta, looking for a takedown. Dōraku pushes De Muerta against the cage but De Muerta circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. De Muerta cracks the inside of Dōraku's front leg. De Muerta throws an overhand right that lands on Dōraku's shoulder, as Dōraku tries to avoid the shot. Dōraku drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. De Muerta displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dōraku throws out the jab. That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! De Muerta is looking to slow Dōraku down with leg kicks. De Muerta throws a leg kick that is checked and Dōraku counters with a thumping low kick. Dōraku chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before De Muerta can pounce on him.
De Muerta misses with a hook. De Muerta goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Dōraku shoots in for a takedown and gets it. De Muerta is not content to let Dōraku control the position. De Muerta blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dōraku. Dōraku looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raoul De Muerta showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Raoul De Muerta's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Dōraku is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. De Muerta moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
De Muerta tries to move into range but Dōraku moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. De Muerta tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dōraku was well out of range. Poor timing from De Muerta. Dōraku is looking to counter with a body kick. De Muerta moves into range and connects with a jab. Dōraku lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
De Muerta connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. De Muerta ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dōraku moves away. De Muerta misses with a low kick as Dōraku jumps back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Muerta misses with a straight left. Dōraku throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. De Muerta was covering up waiting for the punch and Dōraku finishes the takedown easily into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dōraku trying to control but De Muerta is working from the bottom.

Dōraku throws an elbow that misses. De Muerta uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dōraku's guard. Nice move by De Muerta! De Muerta won't allow Dōraku to sweep him here. De Muerta trying to control the position from guard on top but Dōraku is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dōraku being controlled here, momentarily. Dōraku keeping full guard, as De Muerta tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dōraku trying to control the position here. Dōraku looking for a sweep. Not yet Dōraku, not yet. De Muerta's corner is telling him to maintain position. Dōraku looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dōraku being controlled here, momentarily. De Muerta trying to control the position from guard on top but Dōraku is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Horrible takedown attempt by Dōraku or perhaps it was just good defense by De Muerta, which made it look bad. De Muerta motions for Dōraku to come forward. De Muerta throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. De Muerta lands a body shot.
De Muerta ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Niten Dōraku has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! De Muerta scores with a nice right hand.

De Muerta throws a leg kick which misses Dōraku's front leg but catches the back leg as Dōraku tries to avoid it. Dōraku throws a sloppy head kick and De Muerta moves out of range easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. De Muerta throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dōraku stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. De Muerta throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. De Muerta moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
De Muerta lands with a right hand. Raoul De Muerta is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Dōraku takes one to the chin there. De Muerta throws a head kick but Dōraku moves out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! Raoul De Muerta comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got De Muerta winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
