Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
32 - 25 - 0, fighting out of London, Doug Graves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carson West! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab from West. Graves misses with a shot to the body and West counters with an outside leg kick.
West gets tackled into the ropes by Graves. Graves maintains the clinch. Still in the clinch, Graves scores with a nice short uppercut. Graves throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but West blocks it with crossed arms. Graves has a couple of punches blocked by West.
West manages to break the clinch.
West swats away the attempt to clinch by Graves. Doug Graves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Graves takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Graves throws a hook to the side of West's head but West sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Good work by West as he checks the leg kick. Graves has managed to clinch.
West misses with a short punch on the inside. Graves tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
West throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
West tries to land knees in the clinch but Graves avoids the damage to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! West blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

West unloads a knee to the mid-section. Graves is breathing heavily. West misses with a knee to the head. West connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Doug Graves has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Graves misses with a punch on the inside.
West's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A head kick misses from Graves. Graves closes the distance and clinches. A short right hand to the side of the head by West. West lands a nice elbow from the clinch. West lands a nice elbow. West utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Nice elbow from West. A head punch on the inside from Graves fails to land. Graves has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. West pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Graves back to the ropes. West follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! West moves into the clinch. West tries to land knees in the clinch but Graves avoids the damage to the body. West gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round. West is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. West lands an elbow inside that Graves shrugs off. Graves avoids the elbow strike from West, against the ropes.

Graves darts in trying to clinch and West cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. West lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. West cracks Graves with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. West has Graves up against the ropes in a clinch.
West creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Graves's defenses. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Graves tries to land a knee to the head but West blocks with his arms.
West working Graves over with knees to the body. West throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gravess head. With the two fighters working up against the ropes, West just misses with a elbow thrown towards Graves's brow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carson West dominated that round. The cut man is working on Doug Graves's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
West scores with a decent looking hook. Graves closes the distance and clinches. With the fighters up against the ropes, West throws an elbow but misses. Graves throws a head punch that misses. West lands a body punch in the clinch. West misses with a hook to the ribs.
West lands an elbow inside that Graves shrugs off. West lands an elbow inside that Graves shrugs off.
Doug Graves's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Graves takes an elbow to the forehead. Graves throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but West blocks it with crossed arms. West pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. West jabs Graves to the body, keeping him at a distance. West has been the more effective fighter overall so far. West instigates a clinch. West lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Jeez, Doug Graves's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. West manages to break the clinch.
A jab from West does it's job there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Graves looks to land a left hand but West moved out of range nicely. Graves misses with a shot to the body and West counters with a nice low kick that buckles Graves's knee momentarily. West moves into range and clinches up with Graves. West makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A head punch blocked on the inside by West. Graves throws a punch but it's blocked by West.
That's one minute gone in the round. West creates a bit of space and fires a knee right up the middle, almost lifting Graves off his feet and sending him crashing to the canvas! Graves is trying to get back to his feet but his equilibrium is completely gone! The referee has called it off! This fight is over! West is jumping up and down like a mad man, celebrating with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Carson West!
