Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Pontius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Lee Black has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lee Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michal Pontius!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pontius ducks under a wild hook from Black.
Pontius drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Black defends it well.
Pontius fails with the takedown
and Black counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That has opened up Michal Pontius's cut even more.
Black lands with a right hand.
Black scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Black slaps away a takedown attempt from Pontius, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lee Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black throws an off balance right hand
and Pontius counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Pontius postures up and lands a big shot to Black's brow.
Pontius is working Black over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Black looking for a sweep. Not yet Black, not yet.
Pontius in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Pontius stands up over Black, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Black definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Black utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Black looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pontius is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pontius content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Pontius lands a couple of digs.
Black is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Pontius scoring with punches to the head and body.
Pontius throwing strikes but missing.

Pontius throws a strike but Black rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Black wants to stand but Pontius has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Black stops Pontius from standing up.
Black wants to control from the top but Pontius keeps moving.
Black is looking to work some ground and pound but Pontius has wrist control.
Black wants to stand and escape but instead Pontius has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Pontius makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Pontius lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Black working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pontius.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Black is trying to control the position but Pontius postures up.
Pontius postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Pontius throws a strike but Black rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Pontius keeping moving, preventing Black from controlling successfully.

Pontius has a closed guard, preventing Black from standing up.
Black trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Black in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Black is looking to stand up but Pontius won't let him.
Pontius manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pontius takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Black throws a hook but Pontius blocks it.
Black cracks Pontius on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Pontius falls backwards against the cage. Black follows up with more strikes that drop Pontius to his knees. Black keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Pontius! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lee Black!
After winning the bout, Lee Black thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
