Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Aidan Kincaid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Royal Pain! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kincaid tries to keep at a distance but Pain has taken the fight into the clinch. Kincaid blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Pain throws a head punch that misses. Kincaid blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Pain breaks from the clinch.
Pain throws a shot from downtown. Kincaid moves away and avoids it. Pain looks to throw the jab but Kincaid is out of range. Kincaid seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Pain throws a big shot that misses. Pain waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kincaid. Kincaid ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Pain blocks a head kick by Kincaid.
Pain looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kincaid takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Royal Pain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pain throws the left hand but Kincaid avoids the punch easily. Kincaid throws a big counter combination but Pain scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Pain pushes Kincaid up against the cage in a clinch. Pain throws a head punch that misses. Pain manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kincaid. Pain throws out a powerful jab. Kincaid throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kincaid connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Royal Pain has been cut. Pain jabs at Kincaid's body. Kincaid definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kincaid avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Pain thows a left - swing and a miss! Kincaid changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Pain lands with a hook. Kincaid tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Pain might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Kincaid waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Pain. Pain throws a jab but it's blocked by Kincaid. Pain throws an off balance right hand
enabling Kincaid to counter with a crisp jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pain connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Pain loads up on a big right hand but Kincaid slips the punch. Pain throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Pain connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pain just misses with a punch to the body.
Kincaid drops Pain with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Pain! Kincaid dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aidan Kincaid! After winning the bout, Aidan Kincaid thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
