Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yrjoe Velmu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Bosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velmu comes to the cage accompanied by Andrea Bocelli - Por ti volare. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yrjoe Velmu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Bosh!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bosh scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Velmu doesn't seem bothered though.
Bosh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Velmu as he jumps to the side.
Velmu throws a looping overhand right but Bosh ducks down to avoid it.
Bosh tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Velmu defends well and Bosh ends up having to push Velmu into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bosh shoots in but no luck this time.
Yrjoe Velmu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Bosh.

Velmu gets caught flat footed, as Bosh shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bosh prevents Velmu from getting back to his feet.
Bosh tries to free his leg and advance position but Velmu is retaining full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bosh's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Velmu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bosh with a flurry of punches that miss.
Bosh controlling from the top position.
Bosh trying to control but Velmu is working from the bottom.
Bosh stops Velmu from standing up.

Bosh trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Velmu wants to stand and escape but Bosh is having none of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Velmu tries to close the distance and clinch but Bosh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A slow jab from Bosh misses its intended target.
Yrjoe Velmu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Velmu lands a big head kick that sends Bosh tumbling to the mat! Velmu takes a step backwards and waves Bosh back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Chris Bosh has been cut.
A head kick misses from Bosh.
The crowd cheers as Bosh lands an impressive looking overhand right. Velmu doesn't seem phased though.
Bosh throws an off balance right hand
and Velmu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Velmu has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Prestige MMA Acadamy in the buildup to the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bosh takes a kick to the side of the head.

Velmu lands a big knee! That's hurt Bosh! Oh, he's all over the place! Velmu lands another knee that sends Bosh to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!

A relieved looking Yrjoe Velmu thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
