Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Ninja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ninja comes to the cage accompanied by Bonde da Oskley - Cachorrinho. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reggie Miller!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ninja tries to land a front kick but Miller steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Miller misses with a few strikes there.
Miller blocks a jab.
Ninja misses with a combination
and Miller counters with a head kick. That will keep Ninja thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Ninja throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Miller finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Ninja is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Miller fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Miller works over Ninja's head and body with a nice combination.
Miller lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Miller looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nice takedown defense from Ninja. No joy for Miller on that attempt.
Shogun Ninja has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reggie Miller.

Ninja tries to score a body lock takedown but Miller shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Ninja tries to clinch but Miller is having none of it.

Miller rushes Ninja and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Miller stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ninja wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Miller has him pressed against the cage.
Miller unloads a knee to the mid-section. Ninja lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Miller breaks from the clinch.
Miller closes the distance and clinches up with Ninja, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes Ninja against the cage but Ninja circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Miller tries to clinch up but Ninja circles away and keeps his distance.
Miller misses with the combination.
Miller misses with a head kick.
Miller throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A head kick misses from Miller.
Horrible takedown by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Ninja which made him look bad.
Miller fails with a takedown attempt.

Miller moves into range and clinches up with Ninja.
Miller landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Ninja tries to break the clinch but Miller is controlling the position.
Ninja drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Miller prevents Ninja from breaking the clinch.

Miller pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Miller lands with a slapping head kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ninja blocks a head kick by Miller.
Miller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ninja tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Miller counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ninja won't be happy with that.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miller advances nicely into full mount.
Miller tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Ninja's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Ninja stuffs the takedown.
Ninja throws a sloppy head kick and Miller moves out of range easily.
Miller moves out of range of the strikes.
Miller avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ninja swinging wilding here.
Ninja stalks Miller and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Miller's face. Miller staggers backwards, shaken.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ninja swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ninja throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Miller shoots in but Ninja avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Miller tries for a takedown but Ninja sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Ninja wants to clinch up but Miller keeps it at a distance.
Miller takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Miller counters with a head kick.

and Miller counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Miller stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Ninja to get to his feet.

and Miller counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ninja is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Ninja throws a one two combo.

Miller drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Miller wants to pass the guard but Ninja is keeping the position.
Ninja has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Miller has passed into side control.
Ninja is trying to improve his position.
Ninja wants to get back to his feet but Miller is dominant here and he's now got Ninja's back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miller has the hooks in. Ninja is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Ninja is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Miller has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Ninja's body.
Ninja tries to escape but Miller has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Reggie Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ninja throws a right hand that Miller ducks under and follows up with a left that Miller also avoids with ease.

Miller clinches up with Ninja and pushes him back against the cage.

Miller tries to pull guard but Ninja holds him up against the cage and eventually Miller drops back down to his feet.

Shogun Ninja is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Miller closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Miller lands in his opponent's guard.

Miller avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ninja is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Shogun Ninja has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Miller passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Ninja is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ninja keeps working.
Ninja tries to get to full guard but Miller has control of the leg.
Ninja on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ninja tries to get out of the position.
Ninja pushes Miller off looking to stand but Miller dives back in and keeps control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ninja fails with an attempt to clinch.

And that's the end of the fight!
Reggie Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Miller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
