Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Karter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kano Hokichi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Karter!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kano Hokichi!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hokichi looks to throw the jab but Karter is out of range.
Karter seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Karter fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Kano Hokichi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Karter lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hokichi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hokichi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A lazy left from Karter finds it's target.
Karter moves out of range of the leg kick from Hokichi.
Hokichi throws an off balance right hand
and Karter counters with a solid body kick.
Hokichi throws a quick inside leg kick.
Karter tests Hokichi's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hokichi is rocked!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Karter moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Hokichi! Karter continues to tee off on Hokichi, landing with a left and a right! Karter connects with a right hand that leaves Hokichi sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Karter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Chris Karter!
Chris Karter retains his featherweight title!
