Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buri Bokh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JoJo Monsoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bokh comes to the cage accompanied by Mt. KHARKHIRAA. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!The key to victory for Buri Bokh has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, JoJo Monsoon! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Kavanagh and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bokh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Monsoon was well out of range. Poor timing from Bokh. Monsoon swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Monsoon looks to score with a jab to the body but Bokh is just out of range. Bokh lands with an uppercut that bounces Monsoon off the cage and back into range. Bokh closes the distance and clinches. I was talking to Bokh's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Bokh lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A short right from Bokh on the inside. Bokh makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Bokh throws a head punch that misses. Bokh struggles to land a body shot inside as Monsoon controls his hands.
Monsoon is trying to break free. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bokh doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bokh manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Bokh. Bokh scores with a nice hook to the head. Bokh works on Monsoon's body with a couple of short punches. Bokh lands on the inside with an uppercut. A frustrated look appears on Monsoon's face as he tries to break the clinch. Bokh tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Monsoon's elbow. Bokh pushes Monsoon back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Bokh lands a right hand. Bokh lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Bokh doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Monsoon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Monsoon blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Bokh can't find room to land a body shot as Monsoon controls the action.

Monsoon throws a hook to the side of Bokh's head but Bokh sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bokh punishes Monsoon's body with a nice straight punch. Bokh is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Monsoon can do to turn this around? Bokh swings and misses with a shot to the body and Monsoon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Buri Bokh has been cut. Bokh throws a shot from downtown. Monsoon moves away and avoids it. Bokh throws a hook but Monsoon blocks it. Bokh changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Nice shot by Bokh. Bokh misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Monsoon.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Monsoon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Monsoon's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Bokh digs a right hand underneath Monsoon's ribcage. Monsoon let out a lung full of air as it connected. Bokh lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Bokh works on Monsoon's body with a couple of short punches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bokh digs a right hand into Monsoon's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Monsoon's gas tank. Bokh misses with a body punch.

Monsoon walks into a stiff left hand from Bokh. Monsoon gets tackled into the cage by Bokh. Bokh maintains the clinch. Bokh lands a left hand that snaps the head of Monsoon backwards. Bokh lands with a short shot to the head. A shot in the inside from Bokh.
Monsoon is rocked! Bokh lands a left hand that snaps the head of Monsoon backwards. Monsoon is still on wobbly legs! Can Bokh finish him? Bokh creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Monsoon's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Monsoon drops to his knees and Bokh pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buri Bokh! Buri Bokh is the new welterweight champion! An out of breath Buri Bokh thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
