Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sam Quint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cletus Landry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Landry has chosen country boy as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Sam Quint! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Cletus Landry! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Landry motions for Quint to come forward. Landry throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Quint misses with an uppercut. Landry saw that one coming. Landry wants to counter the offense by Quint and move into the clinch position. Quint fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Quint is looking to chop away at Landry's legs. Quint tries to score with a low kick but Landry moves his leg out of the way. Landry takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Landry checks a low kick from Quint. Landry misses with an uppercut. Quint saw that one coming. Landry avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The crowd cheers as Landry lands an impressive looking overhand right. Quint doesn't seem phased though. Quint lands a jab-cross combination. Quint throws out a leg kick but Landry moves out of range and Quint only half commits. Quint misses with a looping right. Quint thows a leg kick but Landry checks it and Landry connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Quint looks to land a combination. Landry sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Quint looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Quint slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Landry uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Quint.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quint lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Quint throws a good cross that connects.
Landry uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Quint. Quint takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Quint pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Landry throws a hook but Quint avoids it easily. Quint looks to throw the jab but Landry is out of range. Landry misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Quint.
Quint throwing a counter right hand but Landry manages to avoid it. Quint lands a jab to the nose. Quint goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Landry avoids a punch combination nicely.
Quint looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Quint pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Landry connects with a crisp jab. Quint throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Quint swings for the body but Landry moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quint throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Landry. Quint throws a low kick but it's checked well by Landry. Quint misses with a body kick. Quint misses with a right hand and Landry counters with a stiff right hand. Landry throws a sloppy head kick and Quint moves out of range easily. Quint slips under a jab from Landry. Quint throws an off balance right hand
and Quint takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Quint throws the kick towards the body but Landry avoids it. Quint swats away the attempt to clinch by Landry. Landry swings and misses with a shot to the body and Quint counters with a nice uppercut. Landry checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Landry takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Landry scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Quint tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Good shot there by Landry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quint fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Quint misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Landry unleashes a big counter combination but Quint bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Landry connects with a single shot there. Quint fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Landry is out of range. Quint takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Landry tries to move into range but Quint moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Landry avoids a kick to the body.
Quint stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Quint pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Quint seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Landry lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Quint circles away quickly and effectively. Landry stuns Quint with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Quint throws a series of punches but Landry moves out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Thud! ouch! good body kick from Quint - that will leave a mark!
Quint's jab looks to have found its range, popping Landry under the eye.
Landry is rocked! Landry takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Landry is still on wobbly legs! Can Quint finish him? Quint ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Landry's jaw. Landry's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Quint does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sam Quint! Sam Quint decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
