Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juan Koski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koski's entrance music is Accept - Head Over Heels. A fine choice. Kersikov has chosen Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Juan Koski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roman Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koski scores with a sloppy right hand. Kersikov should have avoided that one.
Kersikov keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Koski throws a hook to the side of Kersikov's head but Kersikov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kersikov drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Koski defends it well.

It looks like Juan Koski has been cut.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kersikov.

Koski thuds his right hand into Kersikov's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Koski throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kersikov's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Koski lands with an uppercut that bounces Kersikov off the cage and back into range.
Kersikov attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Kersikov takes one to the chin there.
Kersikov thumps Koski with a low kick.

and Koski counters with a stiff right hand.
Kersikov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kersikov looks to land a right hand but Koski moved out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that Juan Koski will probably get the nod.

Koski looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Kersikov passes into half guard.
Koski wants to control but Kersikov is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kersikov is nestled in close to Koski, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Kersikov throws a strike but Koski manages to get a kimura sweep and he's found himself on top with the kimura half locked in! This would be a real turnaround! He's torquing it... Will Kersikov tap??? YES! He's tapped! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Juan Koski!
Juan Koski spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
