Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sellus Gravius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gravius comes to the cage accompanied by Morrowind. Kersikov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Avicii - Wake Me Up ft Aloe Blacc. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Kersikov throws a wild body kick that Gravius sees coming a mile off.
Gravius has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Sweat in the buildup to the fight.
Kersikov throws a body kick that misses
and Gravius counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Andrei Kersikov has been cut.
Kersikov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gravius counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kersikov throws an off balance right hand
and Gravius counters with a huge right that knocks Kersikov out cold! Gravius is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sellus Gravius!
Sellus Gravius is the new super heavyweight champion!
After the fight, Sellus Gravius was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
