Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Diego Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Gabriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabriel has chosen Slow Love by MØ as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Carlos Diego Ferreira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eric Gabriel!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gabriel.
Gabriel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gabriel throws a series of strikes that have Ferreira backpedaling.
Gabriel looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ferreira misses with a takedown
and Gabriel counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ferreira closes the distance and clinches up with Gabriel, looking for a takedown. Ferreira pushes Gabriel against the cage but Gabriel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gabriel cracks Ferreira with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Gabriel throws a head kick but Ferreira moves out of range.
Gabriel bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Gabriel lands with a right hand.
Ferreira is rocked!
Ferreira drops his hands momentarily and Gabriel needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Ferreira just on the top of the head. Ferreira drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Ferreira - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Eric Gabriel!
Eric Gabriel decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
