Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brady Michael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Zambidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zambidis has chosen zeibekiko of eudokia as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brady Michael! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Zambidis! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Chris Dean and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zambidis lands an overhand right. Michael lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Michael clinches with his opponent.
Michael wants to take the fight to the mat but Zambidis manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Zambidis blocks a body shot from Michael. Michael turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Michael manages to end up in side control. Michael throwing shots but missing, from side control. Michael working the ground and pound. Michael controlling the position. Zambidis parries the strikes from Michael easily there. Michael is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Zambidis to escape.
This has been an exciting period of action! Zambidis takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Michael lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's one minute gone in the round. Michael postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Michael has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Michael creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Zambidis sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zambidis takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Michael lands a few punches from side control. Zambidis takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Michael cracks Zambidis with a big right hand but Zambidis just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Michael scoring with punches and elbows. Michael lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Zambidis down.
Michael working the ground and pound. Michael is working to tighten his grip on Zambidis's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Zambidis has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Michael is really squeezing tight and eventually Zambidis passes out! Michael breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Brady Michael! Mike Zambidis was interviewed post fight and said 'I will come back stronger!'.
