Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akimbo lands with a nice body punch.
Akimbo throws a right and a left that Kline avoids nicely.
Akimbo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kline as he jumps to the side.
Akimbo tries to clinch there but Kline circles away.
Kline should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Akimbo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Akimbo showed some decent athleticism there.
Akimbo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Akimbo missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Akimbo prevents Kline from improving his position.

Akimbo tries to stand but can't do so whilst Kline controls his leg.
Kline manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Akimbo throws a nice looking combination but Kline bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kline is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Akimbo lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Kline tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Akimbo smiles and moves away.
Akimbo looks for a takedown but Kline sprawls well.
Akimbo is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kline drives through with a takedown into guard.
Akimbo throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Akimbo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kline on the ground.
Kline stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Akimbo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kline passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Kline is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Akimbo is trying to escape and Kline transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Akimbo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kline! Very nice indeed!
