Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Paolini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wayne comes to the cage accompanied by Can't be touched. Paolini has chosen "Fear" - Disturbed as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. James Wayne has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Wayne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antonio Paolini! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paolini closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Wayne is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Paolini is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Paolini is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wayne is just riding it out for now. Paolini eventually gives up the hold. Paolini should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Paolini is working for a submission of some sort.
Paolini is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wayne defends it well.

Wayne works his way to full guard. Good work. Wayne keeping moving, preventing Paolini from controlling successfully. Paolini looks gassed! Wayne kicks Paolini off and gets to his feet. Wayne lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Paolini circles away quickly and effectively.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Wayne takes the fight into the clinch. Paolini jumps guard but Wayne stands there with Paolini around his waist. Paolini gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Wayne is trying to break free. Wayne wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A short body shot lands from Wayne as the two fighters clinch.
A short uppercut from Wayne. Paolini changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wayne fights it off and pushes away nicely.
A nice leg kick lands there from Wayne. Wayne dances in with a quick combination. Paolini is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Wayne snaps Paolini's head back. Paolini stumbles backwards against the cage. Wayne steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Paolini's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Paolini just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). James Wayne!
