Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mikedmondson Edmondson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Park Ji Sung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Mikedmondson Edmondson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Park Ji Sung!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edmondson lands with a slapping head kick.
Edmondson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
As Edmondson backs off Ji Sung throws a huge counter combo but Edmondson manages to avoid it all.

Ji Sung shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ji Sung was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Edmondson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ji Sung scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Edmondson to see if he's OK.

Ji Sung has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ji Sung is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Ji Sung looks up at the clock and then as Edmondson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ji Sung smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Edmondson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ji Sung seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Edmondson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ji Sung connects with a nice short shot to Edmondson's temple.

Edmondson is staying active underneath Ji Sung, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ji Sung working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Ji Sung is keen to just control but Edmondson is a slippery customer.

Ji Sung looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Edmondson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Edmondson regains full guard. Nicely done.
Edmondson is trying to keep Ji Sung in close.
Ji Sung cracks Edmondson with a solid left hand.
Edmondson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ji Sung controls the pace.
Ji Sung postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Edmondson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ji Sung loads up on a big left hand. Edmondson felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Ji Sung looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Edmondson can't hide his disappointment, as Ji Sung celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Park Ji Sung!
After winning the bout, Park Ji Sung thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
The defeated Mikedmondson Edmondson had this to say: 'Fuck!'.
