Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cheng Li Won!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Driver wants to clinch up but Li Won keeps it at a distance.
Li Won wants to counter with a clinch but Driver pushes him away.
Li Won will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Li Won blocks a jab.
Driver throws a body shot but no joy.
Li Won avoids a punch combination nicely.
Driver throws a hook to the side of Li Won's head but Li Won sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Driver connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Good standup being displayed there by Driver as he connects with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Li Won darts in trying to clinch
and Driver makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Driver drives through and clinches with Li Won against the cage.

Li Won breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Li Won darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Driver looks to score with a jab to the body but Li Won is just out of range.

Li Won keeps control of Driver as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Driver throws a punch but it's blocked by Li Won.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Driver takes a shot to the head.
Li Won misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Driver.
Driver swings wildly with an uppercut but Li Won uses good head movement to avoid it.

Li Won escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Driver stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Driver wants it to stay on the feet.
Ed Driver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cheng Li Won.

Li Won will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Driver rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Li Won moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Driver lands a nice hook to Li Won's body. Li Won takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Driver throws a big counter combination but Li Won scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Li Won catches Driver with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ed Driver will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Driver is trying to break the clinch but Li Won is controlling him.

Ed Driver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Li Won lands a nice shot to the body.
Li Won lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Driver backwards.

Li Won lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Driver or not.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Li Won is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Driver gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Driver breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Li Won swats away the attempt to clinch by Driver.
It seemed like Li Won was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Li Won moves into the clinch.
Li Won stalls.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Li Won throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Driver's waist but Driver gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Li Won off to one side.
This has been an exciting period of action!

That was a close second round but I would say that Ed Driver will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Driver throws the left hand but Li Won avoids the punch easily.
Driver bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Driver was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Driver displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Li Won.
Ed Driver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cheng Li Won.
No luck for Li Won with that takedown attempt.
Driver is looking to wear down Li Won with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Ed Driver is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Driver scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Ed Driver showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Driver, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
